The BILLY CORGAN comes at us this Wednesday AM with his latest edition of trash talk.
The SMASHING PUMPKINS frontman’s latest dig is aimed at the SOUNDGARDEN, claiming their latest reunion is all about the money, money, money.
There are those bands that are essentially coming back only to make money. Playing their old albums, and maybe somewhere in the back of their minds they’re thinking there might be a future. I am not in that business, obviously.
When Soundgarden came back and they just played their old songs, great. I was a fan of Soundgarden, but call it for what it is. They’re just out there to have one more round at the till; same with Pavement and these other bands.
FYI the SOUNDGARDEN are indeed working on a new album that is set to come in your ears this autumn.
PS above quotes come from the man who makes it so you can’t even upload the SMASHING PUMPKINS latest music you legally purchased, because music is such “art” that all the JESSICA SIMPSON’s ex ever does is profit from it.
