the USHER no longer cares if his record sells. cause he’s 2004 CONFESSIONS long_one is still the highest-selling R&B album of this and the previous decade, having shifted over 20 million units worldwide.
Confessions being the highest-selling R&B album of this decade, that is a lot to live up to. There are high peaks and low valleys in life, some moments will be higher than others.
But it shouldn’t speak to the honesty and truth that you kinda go through in the process of making music. There are going to be some chapters of my career’s music that will be greater than others. I don’t feel I have to live up to anything, I just feel I have to be as honest and as artistic as I can.
