The NEIL YOUNG has revealed that being mentioned in the KURT COBAIN’s suicide note “fucked” with him.
The NIRVANA’s frontman took his own life in 1994 and in the final letter he left to his fans, friends and family, reprinted the phrase “It’s better to burn out than to fade away” from the YOUNG‘s mp3, HEY HEY, MY MY (INTO THE BLACK).
The he-singer has spoken up for the first time about this dropping, via his new autobiography Waging Heavy Peace (insert sales tagline) and how he tried getting in touch with the COBAIN, pre-death, in an attempt to help him conquer his problems.
When he died and left that note, it struck a deep chord inside of me. It fucked with me.
I, coincidentally, had been trying to reach him. I wanted to talk to him. Tell him only to play when he felt like it.
Don’t let it bother you mister, he quoted your mp3s because they kicked ass.
