American music, record producer, and the owner of the Royal Studio (Memphis) the WILLIE MITCHELL (b. March 23, 1928) passed away from a cardiac arrest.
the Mississippi-born producer, best known for his collaborations with the AL GREEN, suffered a heart attack two weeks ago and died on Tuesday.
the MITCHELL produced mp3s for the GREEN throughout the ’70s, including the singer’s signature track LETS STAY TOGETHER, and was also a prolific songwriter.
